March for Life Youth Challenge
What is it?
Get young people involved in the pro-life movement through a friendly competition! The March
for Life Youth Challenge encourages young people to participate in the pro-life movement by
encouraging their communities to march for life.
Register your youth group, school, or other organization and bring as many people as you can to
the Oregon March for Life in Salem on May 18th, 2024. For every 10 people in your group, you
will receive one entry into the prize draw. The three winning groups will win a $500 donation to
their pregnancy resource center of choice and one scholarship to Launch, a pro-life leadership
retreat for students ages 16-21.
Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Register
Fill out this form by midnight on May 16th, 2024.
2. Submit attendance list
Submit your expected attendance number to makyra@ortl.org by midnight on May 16th, 2024.
Keep in mind that not all participants have to be youth group members or students—they can be parents, siblings, grandparents, or friends. Bring your community with you!
3. Check in at the March for Life
At the March for Life on May 18th, 2024, find the community outreach table and check in by 2:00 p.m. to verify your presence.
Drawing winners will be announced at the event.

Rules
1. Registration and attendance numbers must be submitted by midnight on May 16th, 2024.
2. You must check in at the community outreach table by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
3. Your group must have at least three teenagers or youth group members present at the event to be eligible to win.
4. Group members do not have to be youth group or church members to count toward group attendance numbers.
5. For every 10 participants your group brings to the March for Life, you will receive one entry into the prize drawing.
6. Groups are only eligible to be drawn once. If your name is drawn twice, the second drawing will be disregarded.
Awards
The three winning groups will receive a $500 donation to the pregnancy resource center of their choice and one scholarship to Launch, a pro-life leadership retreat for students ages 16-21.
Launch Scholarship
- The group leader or a church leader will designate the scholarship recipient.
- The scholarship recipient must qualify for Launch, apply, and be accepted to the program.
If the scholarship recipient is not accepted to the program, your group may designate a new recipient. - This scholarship is only valid for Launch 2025.
Donation to Pregnancy Resource Center
The winning groups will designate the Oregon-based pregnancy resource center they wish to benefit.
The pregnancy resource center must pass Oregon Right to Life’s vetting process.
If it does not, Oregon Right to Life will ask the participating group to choose from a list of qualifying centers.
The donation will be made in the name of the winning group.
