LIZ CARR, the English actress, comedian, broadcaster and international disability rights activist-- known for portraying the role of Clarissa Mullery in the BBC crime drama Silent Witness--challenges the UK’s support of physician-assisted suicide and the underlying attitudes affecting the disabled. Unafraid to voice the prejudices that surround the disabled, Carr, with her off-beat humor and pointed commentary, takes us into disturbing conversations-- reminding us that not every difficult life is one that should be ended.
