Since the Dobbs decision in 2022, our neighbor Idaho has put in place strong legal protections for unborn babies. That is the good news. Sadly, Planned Parenthood set up shop right on the border to take advantage of a new “business” opportunity.
In response, Oregon Right to Life has intentionally increased our efforts in the region and is hosting the Eastern Oregon Pro-Life Summit: Solutions in Action.
Held in La Grande on October 19, this summit will feature Dr. Susan Rutherford, a Seattle-based women’s health expert and medical director for 3W Medical for Women, as the keynote speaker. The sessions will cover best practices for medical pregnancy resource centers and provide the latest updates on abortion pill reversal. Attendees will also learn about 40 Days for Life,sidewalk advocacy and local pro-life advocacy opportunities.
Eastern Oregon pro-life advocates will come away from the summit with valuable insights and practical tools to advance the pro-life cause in the region.
