With the advent of back-to-school season, Oregon Right to Life (ORTL) is ready with educational and informative resources for a wide variety of ages. Read on to discover what’s available for the young pro-lifers in your circle this autumn:

Speakers’ Bureau (see article on this page): Book a speaker for your youth group, club or class! To arrange a presentation for your event, go to ortl.org/speakers or email makyra@ortl.org.

Student Contests: Here is your student’s chance to show off their pro-life creativity! ORTL’s student contests are available for ages K-12. Get involved in speeches, artwork, essays, stories and more! Visit ortl.org/contests to find your local contest coordinator and information on entering.

Launch: Each spring, ORTL hosts a four-day, three-night, intensive training in Salem for pro-life students ages 16 to 21. Experienced pro-life advocates and speakers will share their expertise, including representatives from Equal Rights Institute, Save One and Physicians for Compassionate Care. To learn more or apply, visit ortl.org/launch.

“We want to equip students to understand what it means to be pro-life and provide the support they need to advocate for life in Oregon,” says Makyra Williamson, ORTL community outreach program manager.
