Congratulations to the 2022 Oregon Right to Life Education Foundation (ORTLEF) State Contest winners! With the challenging theme of “Equal Rights for Humans Before Birth,” the competition was quite close. We had a tie in one bracket of the essay contest, as well as a close race for first place in the oratory competition. A special thanks to our judges and tie-breakers.

Special thanks to our 30 local contest coordinators and their assistants. There were more than 530 participating students in the local contests statewide. We received 89 first-place winners that qualified for the state competition. Winning state entries were displayed at the Together We Advocate conference. Thanks to a generous donor, first-place entries were enlarged and displayed on easels. View the entries at ortl.org/contests.
