Members from the Chemeketa Community College Students for Life club (SFL) recently shopped at a local Target for their school’s STEPS program. Chemeketa STEPS provides academic and family support for pregnant and parenting students. New moms and dads can access textbook lending libraries, parenting classes, help applying for scholarships and free baby gear, among other services. SFL students support the STEPS program through various fundraisers and campaigns, empowering numerous fellow students to succeed at both parenting and higher education.
