Today, on the International Women’s Day, we applaud efforts underway to end federal funding of the nation’s largest provider of abortion: Planned Parenthood. Abortion hurts women and kills hundreds of thousands of female babies every year. Abortion is not healthcare.
We believe women can do incredible, even nearly-impossible things. We believe that an unplanned pre
gnancy does not equal the end of hopes and dreams. We believe that all women deserve equal human rights, from conception to natural death.
We ask Pres. Trump and the GOP leadership to fulfill their promises to redirect funding from Planned Parenthood to federally qualified healthcare centers.
